Ranges and female characters for Into the woods

Hey there...
Well, i really don't know much about this musical, but I heard my community theatre is doing it, and it looks really interesting, so i need some help...
First off, I'm a 17 year old female, pretty long brunnette hair, dark eyes, whatev, slim, 5 9, and my range is an e below middle c, up to two A flats above middle C. So its pretty broad, and I have a very strong, classically trained voice(some people say it sounds like a "boys choir voice" because i don't have much vibrato and its really pure)
What would be the best part?? Your help is totally AWESOME!!!

what's the age range for this theatre?

As soon as I read it my mind screamed "Cinderella!" ^^ But it does depend on the age range of your theatre group. If you are one of the oldest people there, they may want to give Cinderella to a younger girl.

If you're at a children's theatre you may consider going for the Baker's wife - I believe she's the main part? I am not acquainted with this musical but I know just a teensy bit.. sorry.

Oh its a theatre for everyone...
we just finished Fiddler on the roof and we had ages 8 to 75...so pretty broad lol...

I agree, I'd say you have a decent chance at Cinderella. The Baker's Wife and the Witch would probably go to older actresess.

Break a leg!
