Random Wicked Facts- The person who plays Fiyero also plays the Lover, while The Wizard sings offstage.
- The Gershwin stage is at a 45 degree angle.
- Elphaba has 3 mic's, one in her hat, one on her forehead and one on her cheeck.
- The letter in WITF have Glinda / Elphie's opening lines on, "Dearest, darlingest........ Blonde!"
- Every actress who has played Elphie on Broadway has played her at least two times.
If anyone knows any more, add on.

I'm pretty sure the "lover" is not Fiyero in London.
There's no way the Gershwin stage is a 45 degree angle. a square corner is 90 degrees - vertical from a horizontal floor. 45 degrees would be half as steep - going up a foot for every foot it goes along. Impossible to walk on! I think it's like to be a 4 - 5 degree slope, or Rake, which is the technical term.

Wicked uses more than 200 costumes, each individually tailored for the particular actor, not to mention double that number in shoes and hats, each with a unique design.
During the first big “quick change,” 17 actors change from the mob scene to Shiz University students in 1.5 minutes (including costumes, wigs and shoes).
The dragon’s eyes are red LED bulbs that never burn out.
In each performance 70 wigs are used, with actors making up to eight changes from beginning to end. Each is custom-built and can cost anywhere from $1,200 to $2,400.
The first notes of “No One Mourns the Wicked” are repeated in the beginning of “As Long as You’re Mine.”

If the stage really was at 45 degrees, the whole cast would be defying gravity just tryin to stand up!

Another one with the costumes - for a green show, they don't recycle! Every new cast member has a new costume made from scratch especially for them! This is normal for principals, but most shows will make the ensemble and understudies use old costumes, altered to fit the new cast, and replace them piece by piece as needed. But Wicked is starting ALL the costumes frech for the new cast!
It's so labour-intensive that Wicked are actually creating a labour shortage in costume construction! There's more work than people to do it! (And dammit, I've another year of uni before I'm out there earning money!)

Every Elphaba Act 2 costume is different for each actress.

Yes - that's what I said. Every costume for every cast member is different. That includes Elphaba's act 2 dress.

I meant, like different design with the cobwebs and stuff. Like all the ensemble and the rest have the same design, but made for them, but if you look at pictures from different Elphie's Act 2 cotsumes, the cobwebs, tassles and that are different.

If you look at the ensemble costumes with the same level of detail, you'll notice slight variations. it's impossible to create exact duplicates of a costume as complicated as Elphaba's Act 2 costume. All the bubble Dresses have slight variations too. I made Elphaba's Act 2 dress last term, and I'm working on the Bubble Dress right now.

Other interesting but otherwise useless facts:
1. Megan Hilty does the singing voice of Snow White in Shrek 3
2. Sebastian Arcelus can trace his family tree to the Romanovs
(note: the above facts were from Wikipedia, from the actors pages, if you want more details)
3. There have been 4 real-life Wicked couples. Two were Fiyero-Elphie couples and two were Fiyero-Nessa couples.
1. Idina and Taye (Elphie and Fiyero)
2. SJB and Sebastian Arcelus (Elphie and Fiyero)
3. Norbert Butz and Michelle Federer (Nessa and Fiyero)
4. Clifton and Deedee Hall (Nessa and Fiyero)
There may be more, feel free to add in any I may have forgotten
