Hey all-I was just in Ragtime and we had a fair amount of our own bloopers...In the middle of "Crime of the Century" our Evelyn's swing broke, and she fell the back platform that we had. *ouch*... In the middle of the 3rd pert of "success" our Tateh's beard came unglued, and one of the puff balls went in his mouth. he sterted choking onstage, and it was amplified by his mic. One night we had a sub. piano player, and the orchestra just stopped playing in the middle of "Coalhouse Demands." and one of our Ragtime Band mambers fell off the back platform in "Atlantic City." There are definatley pleanty more. it was crazy

Not really a blooper, but in our production both Mother's Younger Brother and Sarah, who were engaged and since married, became vioelntly ill from what seemed to be food poisening the day of the show.
She was able to call the director and 2 hrs. before showtime they got one of the Harlem ensemble women in for a quick run through.
Then, in act one, her fiance had the same problem.
We held the curtain at intermission and they got one of the New Rochelle guys into the part.
It was an amazing show in spite of that !
