R&H and high schools/colleges?What is the deal with so many high schools and colleges doing mainly R&H shows? At my college, it seems like every third show we do is an R&H. I enjoy their oeuvre very much, but I'm just wondering if the only reasons they're done so much is because they're easy, scorewise, or if because they're fairly affordable to obtain the rights to. Thoughts?

high school do them becuase of familiarity.
Ive never heard of colleges doing alot of R&H..most college theatre departments do new, classic or experimantal work becuae they are training the students for the pro world of theatre.

Carousel seems somewhat common at colleges...I'm not sure why.
