Question?

I am currently looking for a LIbretto of the Robber Bridegroom. I have done quite a bit of researching on the part of Little Harp but only getting a small description of his chraractor from plot synopsys's. IF anyone knows where I can buy or get a libretto or has any info on the charactor I would be much obliged.

Hmmm. Well it's based on the novel by Eudora Welty, so try the book. : ) I also have the vocal selections, though I've never HEARD the music, (I just hoard sheet music like a pack rat,) but I fear the vocal selections may not help you much as they're sometimes kind of simplified and usually not in the original key.

The book is a great if idea and I have the book on order along with the original cast recording. I thought the musical was based off a poem. But after your suggestion I found that the book was based off the poem and the musical was based off the book. Thx for the help Marymag.

It still would be nice to see some lines. Mainly to practice accent stuff.
