Question about 16 and 32 bar cuts!Hi, everyone!
I am in love with musical theatre, and hope to be in productions some day, and I'm trying to aquire a repetoire. The only thing is, I'm having a hard time finding 16 and 32 bar cuts that make sense and are good. Could any of you give me some examples of cuts, to help me out?
Appreicate it!

There are some musical theatre compilation books that consist solely of 16 bar audition songs, those are probably a good start for you to look into.

Most introductions to songs and 'choruses' of songs are around sixteen bars. A little more or a little less doesn't bug anyone. Often, they will either stop your short or expect you to go longer, so I always prepare 32 cuts that can be stopped at sixteen cuts and to get all of the audition I want out of it, if that makes any sense, which it probably doesn't.
I have a great sixteen cut book for my range that was given to me as a gift. I really love it.
