Putting it TogetherJust saw this show with Lillias White tonight. I LOVED her in it. Over all, I thought the show was pretty good, but... I dunno, I think it just lacked the certain flare of a normal Sondheim show... because... it was a revue of Sondheim haha. But, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially Miss White. Any one else's thoughts?

I've seen the recording of the Broadway production and think it's ok. But I wouldn't want to see it more than once..
I just found it a little awkward.

It was a little bit awkward I suppose, but it worked well. First act was sort of boring, though, the 2nd act was great.
Question, are the older couple generally black? They were tonight, but I'm curious if that was just the way it was cast, or a typing thing.

Those sets look like they are a bit easier to swallow than the Broadway production (which seemed much more conceptual). Maybe you should pick up the DVD for yourself .
