Professional review of Broadway GypsyThe New York Times published their review of Gypsy and theater critic Ben Brantley is extremely enthusisatic about the production, giving uniform praise to all the actors. Brantley says that LuPone has improved her characterization/acting drastically in 9 months.http://theater2.nytimes.com/2008/03/28/theater/reviews/28gyps.html Not sure how much I should believe theater reviews. But I tend to believe good reviews more than bad ones. |

i want to see this show only because it was one of my mother's childhood favorites.
but i still don't understand why people like patti lupone so much...maybe i'll like her better after i see the show. |
