Possible to Meet the Cast??

I've never seen Wicked, but I am really looking forward to it! Probably more so than any other play that I have gone to. I was wondering if it is possible to meet the cast after the show to get autographs and stuff. I've never tried with any of the other plays that have come to town, but this one is different. My kids are all excited about it and want to get their playbills signed and stuff. If you are able to, how do you go about it?? If not, thats cool, I'm still looking forward to it . . .

Go to the stage door of the theatre immediately after the performance, and if the actors feel like it, they'll come out and sign stuff and have photos taken. Wicked casts are generally quite good for this sort of thing.

It's usually really swamped full of teenage girls but the cast seems really nice.

Last time I went Fiyero was getting mobbed by an army of eleven year olds.

^ lol

There are always hoard of pre-teen girls, but the cast are uaually really friendly
music is my life!!!

when i saw the show, all the cast were lovely, and were very happy to sign programmes, and pose for piccies... my facebook profile piccy is me and Oli Thompsett, but it keewps changing from that one, Dianna Pilkington, Kerry and Caroline Keiff, depending on my mood tbh Cool

just be uberuber friendly and polite... i asked Dianne what it was like on the Weakest Link (from back in december) and asked Caroline how she gets the high notes in WWotE (even tho i knew already), which was a great way to break the ice...

best of luck when meeting the cast - most of them are lvoely, and very willing to have a quick chat, depending on how many people are there! Laughing

Yeah it was Oliver getting mobbed. Laughing I didn't personally see anyone else come out but I had to rush off to catch a train. So they might have later when they got cleaned up. One of my friends saw the Chicago standby at the stage door a week or two ago and she was really nice too. Smile

Got to meet the cast!

I saw Wicked for the very first time June 28th and it was even better than I thought it would be! We had the WONDERFUL Katie as Glinda. I'm so glad we got a chance to see her. As for Elphaba, we had an understudy whos talent shocked me. I think her name was Stephanie Torres (not 100% sure). She wowed everyone because a lot of people were upset that the main character was played by the understudy that was third in line to play her.

After the show we did get to meet all of the main characters except for the guy who played Fiyero. The cast was so nice and stood there and signed everyone's playbills, took pictures, and answered questions. Katie was hilarious.

I'm ready to see it again! Too bad I'll probably have to wait a few years . . . : (

THE CAST!!!

I went and saw it in New York City two weeks ago, and on my way out I passed the back door and Boq and Madame Morrible came out and signed my Playbill. I would have stayed for Alli Mauzey and Nicole Parker, but it took too long. Anyway, I recommend finding the back door and going there after the show.
