hi!
i'm thinking of going tomorrow to a casting for the portuguese version of Rent.
as I am bariton/bass i though of choosing the character Collins.
I'm reharsing the song "I'll cover you - reprise", but I need to choose one more song.
I though of several songs, from Les Mis, Lion King, Fiddler, etc., but they are all more operatic and different from the genre of the musical Rent.

Can you recommend me some songs to choose?

The original Broadways cast were requested to not do a Broadway song, I believe.
A lot of "mainstream" stuff is closer to RENT than most musicals, I'd just recommend finding a song that feels right to you.

i've choose another from rent.
