Dear "Brigadoon" Fans,

Is Fiona usually portrayed as a very religious, calm girl, or as a slightly lustful, frustrated girl who is trying desperately to make herself, and everyone else, believe that she can wait for her heart's desire?

I would personally add some lust to that line which says "he's the dearie I've been wantin' so..."

I think Fiona is the level-headed median between Jean and Meg. Not nearly as lusty as Meg, but not so much as to be as quiet and reserved as Jean.

The girl who played her in the production I was in portrayed her fairly conservatively, but then again she was a very conservative girl who didn't know too much about characterization.

[Salome]

She is a level headed realist. but she realizes now that n o one from the outside world can enter her life..her chances at falling in love are slim.
