Truly outstanding, Nick! While I don't care for "Hunchback" as a movie, your recreations of that movie's songs were the highlight for me. Again, it was truly superb!

Thank you for your warm comments. I too enjoy the rendition of Outcasts in it. It's a beautiful song anyway, so it deserved some tender loving care. Smile

That was AMAZING...except for the fact that there wasn't a single Aladdin song in there. No Pocahontas, either.

I know. I don't have the sheet music for any of Aladdin. It's interesting to me, though - the musical phrase "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is the same as "I can show you the world" (from Aladdin, of course), so that would be my seque link.

Fact is - Alan's written so many good songs, if I wanted to include them all - the medley would be 30 minutes long. I also wanted to include the songs you wouldn't expect to hear in a medley...Colours of the Wind would work nicely in there, though. I am sorry!

I just consider "A Whole New World" to be like, Menken's theme song (and he does as well, its what his website is themed after) and I also love "Colors Of The Wind", so I was surprised not to hear them there. But it was great anyway!

Here is a link to a recording I did of Colours of The Wind with a friend of myne (she is singing and I am accompanying). I actually played this to Stephen Schwartz and he just smiled whilst listening to the whole thing - it was incredibly touching. The recording was done in one take, at 2am in the morning - after a long evening - so, please excuse some inadequacies.

wow this is really good. I was jamming in my dorm room to it and my roommate thought I was a little crazy. The transitions into each new song are so smooth. It really is a great piece because it keeps the vibe of each song but seems like its something new. I was very impressed.
