Pit OrchestraCan someone let me know what instruments are required for the pit in Rent? Particularly, is there a trumpet part?

Hmm. I always thought it was all synthesized. Rent, to me, doesn't seem like a musical that would have a lavish full orchestra.
Though, now that I think about it...that'd be beastly.

These are the parts listed in the OBC booklet.
Conductor, Piano, Synthesizers, Egg
Bass
Guitars
Drums & Percussion
Hammond B-3, Synthesizers, Guitars
So the brass which can clearly be heard must be synthesized.

The brass part in the orchestration is played on keyboard - BUT - on the OBC recording real trumpet was used in the recording, just not on the actual stage.
