Pictures from our school's production this past weekend

Our production opened (and closed) this weekend. It was pretty darn close to perfect--which is saying something for a low-budget high school production, I think. ;D
pictures, as promised--until I can swipe my dad's camera, I'm stuck with those of the extremely-hyper-back-stage variety (and one I ganked off Facebook):

obligatory cast shot. : D

standing: Wizard (sans wig, alas), Sir...Luce? I think?, a lady, the Queen, another lady, and Fred. Very Happy
sitting/crouching/whatever: yet another lady, the King
All of our seniors, actually...they're so awesome! D:
Especially the King, Queen, and Fred. With extra props to Fred because she had to fall out a window and stuff.

me n' the kitchen wench. : D

my 'daddy' jester and i. xD
also, take note of my super-creepy staff...it looks a bit like the doll from Saw, no?

yes, i am aware that this picture is spectacularly obnoxious. i just wanted to show off my freaky-deaky-jester's-staff-of-doom...and my rather overlarge costume. : D

that's all for now. i'll try and get some actual stills up later.
Beagle On Stage

Thanks for that. It looks like it was a fun production, and it reminded me of my high school theatre days.

I love seeing pictures from different productions! Looks like a really fun cast!

Your king looks like a fun guy! Totally has the right Sextimus attitude even for a candid group picture!

He's really super awesome (and also great at dealing with minor stage disasters: in the middle of 'Normandy', for instance, a particularly exaggerated gesture sent his crown falling off his head and cracking in two. He managed to pull off wearing half a crown for the rest of the show, and even turned the pieces into little puppets for 'Man to Man Talk'. Which was absolutely priceless, crown-people or no).
