Pics from my production! Opinions?!?!Our show wrapped up last summer, but it's never too late to share some ITW pics! Who doesn't love that show?http://photoreflect.com/pr3/thumbpage.aspx?e=3940651 I played Cinderella! Such a great role for me! Luckily for us, a local photography studio takes our pictures for free and they are free to view on the studio's website, so I thought you guys would enjoy them! What do you think? |

Not too crazy about the costumes and make up.. thel ighting design looks quite good and you all look well cast.

Ahhh!! I was in that production too! Also, those pictures were taken at a dress rehearsal...and no one told us ahead of time that pictures would be taking place that day! So most of the cast was without stage makeup! (grr...) I agree with you about the costumes though....THOSE THINGS WERE HIDEOUS!! |

Yeah, that was horrible with the whole make-up thing, but we had been having some storms that week, and the pictures kept getting postponed.
And you're right about the costumes! They were terrrrrible..... I don't know what our director was thinking. My costume for the second act was three times my size, so it took some clever pinning to get that to work, haha! Our booth does such a fantastic job with the light cues! They work so hard! Thanks for your feedback! |

Some of the costumes just look rather plain, IMO, like the Baker, the Baker's Wife, and the Narrator.
Did Jack spray his hair red? Haha, it looked pretty natural until I noticed how bright the color was. Little Red looks like she's straight out of Switzerland with the braids and all, and I have yet to see a red cloak...I think the idea of Cindy's Mom standing behind the tree is a little ridiculous. I like the Witch's costume, although the close shots reveal the nose strap in all its glory. Rapunzel's wig looks like it isn't fitting right. Ah. There's the red cloak (#56). Why wasn't she wearing it before? I agree. Cindy's dress does look a bit odd. Its shape is just...wierd. You're very pretty, though. Uh-oh. Powdered wigs. Haha that's never good. You had two Stewards, I'm guessing? I like the contrast between the Princes: one wearing white and one wearing black, though Rapunzel's Prince looks like his costume is a bit fancier, when it should probably be the other way around. Agh, just looking at Jack makes me jealous... Cindy's Prince looks like he's sweating. Your MM costume is kinda wierd too. The beard and long hair makes it look like you have a Mysterious Woman. Your pre-transformation scene isn't as subtle as it could be, mostly because the witch' hump is completely gone and you tell it's just a girl hunching over. But you don't lose any points for that; I'm just pointing it out. I don't really like her dress, either. Looks like it belongs to a middle-aged woman who goes to church every day and lives at home with her three cats. Huh, a fairy tale chorus. Huh, personally I'm not too fond on the idea of having a chorus, as it seems kind of awkward to have all these people pop out for only two numbers. And...is that a sleepover? Like, the people the Narrator is telling the story to? Huh. Aw, Jack's Act II costume is REALLY unfortunate. The shirt is all puffy and awkward. I LOVE Snow White's dress, but Sleeping Beauty looks like she's crying. Yeah...that chorus is officially awkward. ...So there you go. My incredibly long opinion of all 299 pictures. I agree with Salome, though. This production looks incredibly professional (not in the literal sense, in that you look like you know what you're doing) and I imagine all of you did a great job! Do you have any videos of the production? I'd love to see them! |

Your narrator is wearing an American Eagle hoodie. Just thought I'd point that out.

A production of ITWJR that I saw had their narrator dressed purposely modern (it was a girl in an upscale dress) to make her stand-out from the characters actually in the story. It was an interesting idea. |

Yeah, haha! Our director had an idea to create a separate babysitter storyline with the narrator. So the narrator was "reading" the story to smaller kids (aka the director's children |

I would be one messed-up kid if my babysitter had disappeared into a storybook and then been killed by the characters.
| WhiteAida117 |
Hahaha...there was never any real follow up to the babysitter story. It was basically just a plot to work their kids into the show. |

Thanks for your feedback everyone! And Tumnus, everything you said was right on! And yes, I do believe that WhiteAida posted some videos of our production a while back right here. I know we would really love some feedback on those as well. |
