As far as I remember "phantom" was a double DVD, and the bonus features were on the 2nd disc.

Yup, that's the way mine is. The bonus features are worth the extra money for the 2 disk version.

Then if there are 2 Discs how come the version I bought only came w/ 1 . I got the DVD at Best Buy but like I said I bought it soley for the Bonus features so in my mind this ISN'T a Best Buy at all.

There were two versions of the musical released, One was the movie only and the other was the two disk set. My wife made the mistake of picking up the movie only, so I donated it to the school and bought the 2 disk set for home.
OldDeuteronomy

is the 2-disc version still available? if so is there a way to tell on the packaging BEFORE I buy it that i'm getting the right one?
Quique

Get the 2 disc set.

Mine has a making of, about the music and old promos and it's only one disc.

Amazon lists both seperately. See this page for the options.

Iended up having to buy the 2-disc from Amazon.com Can't wait for it to get here ( I didn't think to check the souviner stand at the show on Sunday could I have gotten the 2-disc DVD there?
OldDeuteronomy

my amazon.com order arrived yesterday and I popped Disc 2 in immediatly.

OMG the "Behind the Mask" Documentary is AMAZING! and to think the "Think Of Me" key change we hear today would have been there from day one.
Thank GOD Steve Harley Didn't get thew part of The Phantom
jcstar

I still contend that had Harley landed the role, the show still would have been a hit. I don't think Crawford or Brightman had any influence on that.

Andy.
Brother Marvin Hinten, S.

Had the show been more rock opera, I'd have liked it more.

Which is why the title song is the best.

(Bah! Dah dah dah dah dah!)
