Peter and Simon

A regional theatre (where I've worked before) is doing this show in their 2008 season. I will be 18 at the time this show happens. I was looking on stageagent, and Peter and Simon were the only "younger" roles I found. Stageagent said those roles were tenors. Does anyone know their exact ranges? And are their any other parts I might want to shoot for?
Pasty

Peter goes to a G4 and Simon goes to an A4 iirc.

iirc = if i recall correctly.

A G4 is the G above middle C (C4).

on stageagent, it says that the age range of both Peter and Simon is 21-35.
Brother Marvin Hinten, S.

Troika, who will be casting for replacements for the Ted Neeley tour of JCS in September, has this to say about both roles:

Peter: 20-40, male, baritone-tenor (low Bb to high G), gentle apostle who betrays Jesus but eventually finds his strength and becomes a stabilizing force among the Apostles

Simon Zealotes: 18-30, male, rock tenor (low Bb to high G), youthful, exuberant, idealistic, and increasingly militant
Lazarus (Adam G)

Yeah, but that's because Peter and Simon understudy for Jesus and Judas respectively. Jesus requires a high-G, so Peter needs to be able to hit one. Corey Glover goes to a G (and higher sometimes), so Simon has to be able to hit those notes as well.

Some actors who play Pilate also may need ranges like that too. Some Pilates are cast as a Judas unsderstudy.

In any event, I have never seen Peter portrayed as the "oldest" apostle. I think that should be Judas.
