People you would love sing the Phantom

I have already seen Paul Stanley as the Phantom... a dream come true. But here's a list of people I want to see/hear as the Phantom...

Danny Zolli
Jerome Pradon (in English or French)
Randal Kieth (okay he's done it, but I would love to see him in the role)
Will Farrell
Zubin Varla

I believe Will Ferrell has already done it........more or less

Will sounds like the guy who plays the Duke in Moulin Rouge when he sings. I cant remember his name.
Monsieur D'Arque

I'd like to hear Danny Elfman's take.

Richard Roxburgh? Not really known for his singing. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0746896/bio

Yeah, it's Roxburgh...quite the versatile actor, but it's hard to recognize him in his different roles, and not just because he's physucally different in each one, but also because he alters his voice greatly i.e.e His voice was an octave higher as The Duke, and an octave lower as Count Dracula in Van Helsing....he also did an impressive Sherlock Holmes in Hound of the Baskervilles (probably the only actor who looks hot shooting cocaine into his arm)

As for Will Farrell he actually has a decent voice for a man doing a commedy sketch and not even trying.

How about Tim Curry as the Phantom? I think he'd be excellent.

Orestes Fasting

Aaron Lazar.

Heard him singing Music of the Night and almost died. What a voice. And I suspect he'd read the book and dig into the darker side of the character, after what he did in Les Mis.
Mistress

What did he do in Les Mis, pray tell? (I'm curious Mr. Green )

I'd love to see Brian Stokes Mitchell play this role! His voice is so powerful and amazing. I saw him as Cervantes/Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA on Broadway and though he is known for his big belting voice, his voice can do a lot more than that. And the guy definitely can act!!

ooo Brian Stokes Mitchell would be great as the Phantom...as would Jerome Pradon

But I think Philip Quast would totally RULE in this role Very Happy
