Parade Sheet Music

Ok I have an audition and I want to use something from "Parade". What are good Baritone songs from this show. I've only listen to this "Broadway Cast Recording" once. I remember good guy songs in there. Can someone help me out? And if you have the sheet music, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! My audition is on July 15. Thanks!

You could try "Big News" (more tenorish though) or "This is Not Over Yet" or even "How Can I Call This Home?"

Those are my suggestions... unfortunatly I do not have a scanner or I will send you the actual music from the Score (I was in the show a few months ago)

hope this helps anyways...

Go to amazon and buy the vocal selections...This show is worth owning!

And, if you don't already own the cast recording, get it!

My only concern is that some of the accompaniment is really hard for the pianist to sight read in an audition situation. Please remember that when you find a song that you sing well, that you don't end up sabotaging yourself by choosing a song that has difficult accompaniment!

I've seen too many people go down this season using stuff by JRB, Guettel (PEOPLE- DON'T DO LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA!!!!), Lippa, Sondheim, just to name a few...BE CAREFUL!

Always remember that the pianist is part of your performance, too!
