Out of Body AuditionsAnyone ever have that wierd feeling after an audition, where you just have noooo idea how you did/can't remember the audition at all?!! The last few auditions I've had have been like this and it is freaky!!! I'm still trying to figure out if this is a good thing or not...
thoughts?

auditionsUnfortunately, I do not suffer from post-audition amnesia. That way I can be sure the post -audition play-by-play in my head is very painfully accurate. I wish I had a delete button.

I would say that it's a good thing that you don't remember in some cases, because then you don't tend to obsess about how you did. Instead, you just keep going to the next audition and the next.
Also, it could be a result of TRULY being in the moment when you're auditioning, which is VERY difficult to do! If you are in the moment, then you won't think about how you're doing, you will just be the character and enjoy yourself and whatever happens...So that's great, too!
So much of auditioning/acting success it about letting go...
DARN! I WISH I COULD TAKE MY OWN ADVICE ON THAT ONE! LOL!
And yes, I've had a few "out of body" experiences...It was weird...I was on a TON of antibiotics around the time that the Radio City show was casting singers and it literally felt like the world was going in slow motion! My audition seemed to last decades! LOL! I still have NO IDEA what actually happened!
But needless to say, I wasn't called back! LOL!

I've always been able to remember EVERYTHING about an audition, which is not good because then I go back in my memory and spend hours obsessing over the little mistakes (or huge disatrous mistakes) that I made. On the other hand, remembering an audition helps me to deal with the next one because I can learn from my mistakes; if I forgot every single audition, I might go to hundreds doing the exact same wrong things.
If that makes any sense; it's early
