All of our constumes were originals constructed by our crew...I'm quite proud of them despite the fact that we went WAY over budget!!!

that dress was a serious labor of love.
nevermind the fact that it weighed a ton! I know I had to carry the freaking thing two or three times!

I love both Belle's and the Beast's costumes. It might just be me, but does the Beast remind you of a devil a bit (because of the horns/ears thing)?

I wasn't in the show. It was however done at my theatre. Honestly I'm not too found of the show and the theatre booked none shows a week during the holidays and I just wasn't up for that no matter how good the money was. I'm booked every other holiday season already so I didn't want to add a show during my off time.

The Belle dress is AMAZING!
Do you know what kind of fabric they used?

Do you mean nine shows? Because "none shows" isn't proper grammar, and it isn't very many shows!!

i LOVE belle's dress; our community theatre is doing BatB soon and I hope her dress is beautiful; i was looking at some costume rental companies and all their belle dresses were disgusting...

We actually ended up selling our entire lot of costumes from the show. I had hoped we could rent them, but the theatre had other ideas obvisously.

oh my gosh! Thats the Boiler Room production!!! It was absolutely phenomenal (and I can be a tough critic!) I live in Brentwood and knew about 5 of the people in the cast and we had season tickets to the past two seasons and that show definitly wanted to make me be a Boiler Room actor even though I've heard from a girl named grace partin that they are only hiring over 18 which is really sad saying that I'm 14 about to be 15 and there shows are the best in Williamson County!!! They're the only real professional theatre in the county.
What a small world!!!

I know Grace! She's one of my students and I've actually played opposite her in two different shows...Fiddler and Seussical. You know, quite a few young performers get their foot in the door at the BRT by working with my musical theatre program, ActToo, that's based in Brentwood...that's where I met Grace.

Wow, thats awesome because I meant to do Seussical with her and some of her friends but missed the cutoff, I think that is why I couldn't do it! I saw fiddler and it was great with the Beauty and the beast sets and the acting was great for a childrens theatre! I've been meaning to also get voice lessons with Jan Williams, but never gotten around to it. Grace told me that yall were doing Godspell in the fall which sounds fun so i might just need to get into it!

The more the merrier! We have a lot of fun during our rehearsal periods so I would like to extend a personal invite to you!
Oh and ask Grace when she's coming to see Big River??

If you saw Seussical, I played Grace's husband...Mr. Mayor. I'm one of the Act Too instructor/directors.
