Actually, our presentation is based on the movie, where Joseph is played by Donny Osmond and Maria Friedman as the Narrator... | ||

I wasn't all that crazy about the movie version. In terms of a recording, I like the Canadian version the best. I saw a professional production in Atlanta and when singing "One More Angel in Heaven", the cast, with the exception of Jacob wore cowboy/girl costumes. I think productions usually don't make the costume change but after seeing both I think the costume change to cowboy outfits really makes the scene work much better especially for the hoedown scene. Seeing the actors singing and dancing cowboy western stuff in Middle East robes diminishes the scene's effect in my opinion. |

Yes, that's one of the ideas I brought up, (which is actually I have acquired through surfing the net) but our directors said, it is not applicable because the transition between scenes are very fast...I said "what about a cowboy hat, I think it will make a difference from the video and it will make more creative"...still they don't take my advice, but I do hope that our future presentations will be more succesful through the help of God.
