Oscar the cat that knows your going to die o/tHiHe lives in a nursing home and curls up on the bed next to the patient lying in bed, normally abour four hours before they die. He also does not like other people in general, granted you can bribe him with some food, but without it he does not want to know you. Creepy, not in a horrible sense, but in a strange way. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070725/ap_on_fe_st/death_cat |

I think what's really going on here is Oscar=Murderer. Seriously though, it's sort of neat. |

That is really cool... in a morbid way. Would make a good film or something.
I can just imagine adding that character into CATS and the line 'Oscar the cat who knows you're going to die' being in his signature song, being sung all happy like. I'd love that. |

Well, if that were the case he'd have to be the one to get Griz, not Victoria.

I think that's really, really lovely! If I was lying in a hospice, terminally ill, waiting for the day my end finally comes, I can't think of better company on that last day than having a warm, comforting cat purring beside me. It's a really sweet, compassionate way for the cat to use his senses.

I visited a nursing home a couple of years ago and saw a few cats like this. It's amazing how they train them. They are very docile and roam around to different rooms. The ones I saw were more for rehabilitation, but I know they also comforted the families when their loved ones were about to die. It was very moving.

Hi
If your time was up, and you could have your favourite character from Cats who would it be. Base your answer from any production and any one. You can have more than one! My choices, based on pure lust, from the video would be Aeva Mae's Demeter, I saw her on stage in te role so I know what I would be getteing in my last moments. London run, Emma Harris as Victoria. What a babe! Broadway, Marlene Danielle's Bombalurina never saw her when I saw the show on Broadway. Always looked the part. Polish cast, I really like the one playing R/teazser, she look very cheeky and not as thin an actress as they usually have. |

Old D, so I could get born again....so long as he bought the staircase for me to climb up, and not the rubbish UFO.
Actually when you think about it old D is kind of creepy, with his 99 buried wives and his picking which cat pops its kitty clogs every year. Maybe he's a relation of Oscar? |

Keep that cat away from me! I may be turning 30, but that doesn't mean I'm so old that I'm ready to kick the bucket! In my time of dying, I'd probably want Mistoffelees to be there...just so he can bring me back to the picture of perfect health and grant me immortality. |
