I go to the whole Easter Triidum every year, so I'll be in Mass on Good Friday itself. I love the Biblical epics though, they're bomb. I'll be watching as many as I can this week. My favorites are "Ben-Hur," "King of Kings (silent and talkie)," "The Greatest Story Ever Told," "The Bible (in the Beginning)," and the very best one, "The Ten Commandments." "Passion of the Christ" rocks too, but I still don't consider it one of the classics because it's so new. "David and Bathsheba" could be better, but it doesn't get the credit it deserves. Would you believe I still haven't seen "Jesus of Nazareth"? I've seen the crucifixion sequence, but never the whole thing, and as everyone knows it's considered the ultimate "Jesus movie."

"Jesus of Nazareth" is freaking 8 hours long. I am sorry, I can pick up the book and read the story in less time. I dont have the patience to sit and watch it for 8 hours.

It actually runs for 6 hours. Each part is two hours long.
I watch it over three days. It's a great film. Lots of great names in it too.
Oh and Jesus doesn't blink during the entire film.
Andy.

Jesus of Nazareth is every bit as good as Passion of the Christ is alleged to be and it's in English, yay!
