I don't know but I saw auditions for it on exploretalent.com, but it's not there anymore
Marie-leah

the corspes of half the cast come back as zombies?

I think the only way it would work is if the lead female turned to Bet dodge broke free from prison and fagin found himself involved somewhere in it although there is no motive for oliver to get involved with him again really

I don't know I think it had some new characters in it and dodger was much older like in his 30 maybe it was a mistake
Salome

Dodger gets hauled off to prison in the novel and the musical.
musical4eva

Don't Dodger and Fagin meet up at the end and move on to somewhere new? In the musical that is

That's what happened in mine too! Surprised
seymour_ii

Actually, Fagin hooks up with Charley. I like to think of this character as Dodger's assistant. Or at least, my production ended this way.

interesting never heard that ending and if anybody heard any other endings please tell!
musical4eva

Yeah. Now i think about it our Fagin loved the ending to the movie so asked if they could write it in. I think little alterations to scripts give productions their edge. It sets them apart from anyone elses.

ours was closer to the novel. ..Fagin sang his reprise of "Reviewing the situation" started to walk up the bridge gets to the top looks down sees a bow street runner..turns to the other side and sees another one coming up....he realizes theyve got him..holds out his arms as they escort him to prison as te image of a noose appears on the scrim beyond the bridge. chilling.
musical4eva

Wow. That sound really good.

I seen that ending too! Very Happy
theatre_grl

yeah i saw the ending in the movie first where doger and fagin go off to be crooks somewhere else...its cute, but after i read the ending to the real script i liked it a lot better--its closer to the book and has deeper meaning.
i like how your production did it, Salome. chilling indeed.

No, it happened in the version I was in too, and was in the lib, and another production I saw.
