so i auditioned for oliver, and i got childrens ensemble. this is community theatre.

now, i just found out theres an audition for les miserables july 2. its regional theatre, and uuuugghhh! i wish i woulda heard about that sooner :[

they already began...2nd rehearsal is tomorrow.

try out for les mis, if you get it, drop oliver. I mean you are in the children's chorus so it will be no big loss to them. And there is only 2 girl parts in Les Mis, and 1 boy part...

hmmm I would go to the Les Mis audition anyway and if you get offered a decent role have a quiet little chat with your Oliver director and explain that you have been offered a better role in a different show. If he is a good director he will understand that doing the better role is what is best for you (and to be honest losing an ensemble member won't hurt the production that badly, unless you were holding everyone together lol).

ya they're right. being in les mis is a much better deal than being in oliver

Oliver is the better show. but young cosette is a better role than ensemble.
