It's my birthday today, and I opened my last gift to see...well, a CATS souvenir book and the "World of CATS" book. And my mom was like, "don't look so disappointed, honey." So I looked at her, confused, and asked, "did you get these out of my room?"

Enter hysterical laughter. She bought them on eBay. Parents!

But theeeeen......there's this white envelope underneath. Guess what's in it? "Tickets" for CATS! IN MY TOWN! I actually screamed. My sneaky mom and sister HID the newspaper article from me!

I was SO, SO disappointed when I had to cancel my NJ trip to CATS because of my health; I got so angry at my life and was really furious that these things never work out because I'm too sick. The chances of CATS coming back to my town are one in a million!!! So I'm going to see it January 28, 2007! WOW!!! I just had to share the AMAZING news because I'm just on top of the world!

And try not to be too disappointed by the "obvious" type gifts from the 'rents. It's almost a given, really (I've been givn no less than 5 copies of the video since its release - twice by the same person!), and it's nice of them to think so much of your CATS interest at all. Cliche but true: it's the thought that counts
Besides, it sounds like a neat, tricky way of "wrapping" the "real" present of those tickets :p

I've been looking at the dates on Ms. J's website and ticketmaster.com for Cats but they have nothing listed for that date for the national tour. Anyone know where an updated tour schedule is?

I just found that date today when I went searching for some new tour dates. I also found some other new ones. I hope to update my tour site tonight or tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'll post anything new I find on my tour forum.
