Oh, Conrad! We love you!Dear Musicals.Net Posters,
When you hear about a guy named Conrad, do you think of Birdie? I do!

Well, I only know one person named Conrad, but when I first met him, I thought of Conrad Birdie. I guess it would just be instinct for me to think of Birdie when someone is named Conrad considering the sickening amount of times I've been in this show.

Yes. Were I ever to meet a Conrad I would think of Conrad Birdie. It's this way with many names from many shows. For example, were I to meet someone by the name of Rocky, I would automatically think of Rocky Horror, and if I were to meet someone by the name of Roxie I would most likely think of Chicago. It goes on.

Yes!! Lol, I was very young when I first saw the show and I'd never heard of that name before!! Now that I was in the show (Ursula! ) it's WORSE.

I have this overwhelming desire to follow them around singing "we love you Conrad, oh yes we do..."
Although after seeing the Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers I soemtimes have the over whelming desire to say "The sun was not sunny that day, it was too wet to play"

I probably would...but I don't know a Conrad.
I'm like that with names from shows, though

ugh yes. and everytime i hear that song i want to stab myself, due to the fact that when i was in the show i 'fainted' in the scene when conrad arrives and almost knocked myself out falling on a stool that the stage crew forgot to remove, and then tearing, had to sing "we love you conrad" in the next scene.
so basically whenever i meet someone named conrad i want to kill myself. it kind of sucks.
but whenever i hear Christine, or Roxie, or Oliver i think of all the shows.
EDIT: hehe, i just found my old Bye Bye Birdie ballet shoes by accident

If I met a Conrad, I would definately think of Conrad Birdie... but I don't think I have ever known one.
I think in early elementary school our librarian read us a book called Conrad...but that was a long time ago. Just saying, that's the only other association I can even conjur up when I try.
I'm sure if someone WERE named Conrad, he would be extremely sick of being sung to.
Imagine if your name were Harry Potter... I'm sure there are a lot of them. "Your name is Harry Potter?? OMG, that's so cool!" You would never have any hope of googling yourself and getting yourself. Unless you include a middle name.
