Of Mice and Men (Play)

Did John Steinbeck write the play adaption too? I googled it and they all say "Of Mice and Men Acting Edition By John Steinbeck" (or similar)... I really want to read it but I can't find who wrote it.

Yes, it does seem that Steinbeck adapted his book for the stage.

Scipt and performance rights are available through Dramatists: http://www.dramatists.com/cgi-bin/db/single.asp?key=1857

An excerpt is available on Google Books: http://books.google.com/books?id=CeCuAVgRGCsC&pg=PA7&dq=of+mice+and+men+stage&ei=rMLpSqLqF5PwzATu1a3cCw#v=onepage&q=of%20mice%20and%20men%20stage&f=false

Many thanks. Smile

Steinbeck actually wrote several of his works in such a way that they function either as novellas or as plays. You simply take the text itself and add in some stage direction.
