My friends and are are auditioning for my schools talent show to sing seasons oflove. I need costume ideas for each character. I have some ideas but want others input,

It shouldn't be too hard...this is, after all, a modern show. You probably have great costumes right in your own closets! Here's what I think is good for each individual character, though...

For Mimi, a short blue jean skirt and fishnet stockings.
For Roger, maybe blue jeans with chains on them and a black shirt with a rock band logo.
For Mark, preppy stuff. Don't forget the glasses and striped scarf!
For Maureen, a sleeveless shirt and skin tight black jeans.
For Collins, baggy blue jeans and a skullcap.

I can't really think of anything good for Joanne or Angel. Good luck!

Joanne should be like basic businesswoman stuff. Not like, high heels, tuxedo, but like "Oh she's important." clothes. Sorta like how Tracie Thoms dresses in Seasons of Love in the movie.

Two notes on SomeoneLikeYou's suggestions:
1. I would NOT describe Mark's clothing to be preppy. It's a tad grungy. Same for Roger. The show was written in/costumes were designed in the 90's.
2. What Tom wears is called a kufi.

I went thrift store shopping today and I think I found some gems.
a leopard skirt (mimi)
Leather Jacket (roger)
blue nailpolish (angel)

I haven't bought anything yet. We have a few people left to cast. Collins Benny and Maureen.
