Is it me or even the usually cheap seat (Upper Circle) tickets ridiculously expensive for this show?

I was desperate to see Connie Fisher in this, but I've always loved the SoM anyway so I'd go whoever was cast. I really do like Connie, though, and hoped to see her. However the minute I got online and saw the ticket prices I realised I just wouldn't be able to afford it.

The only other musical I've recently seen being as overpriced as this one was Mary Poppins.

But with the SoM it's painfully obvious that ALW is just using the TV show and the fact that Connie is so popular to charge obscence prices. Or, at least, that's how it seems to appear.

I'll never see Connie before her run ends (when is that exactly, does anyone know?) and I'm very disappointed. People should not be priced out of being able to go to theatre!
