My Sister's Keeper Theatre MomentI had a complete theatre geek moment when I saw My Sister's Keeper tonight (GREAT movie, btw.)
At the end when the Mom and Kate are looking at the scrapbook, there's a ticket to Beauty and the Beast from 1995 at the Shubert Theatre.
And I lost it.
I was bouncing off the walls like IT NEVER PLAYED THERE IT WAS AT THE PALACE!
Thought I would share lol.

It didn't play at the Shubert Theatre in NY, but it did play at the Shubert Theatre in LA. I saw it there when I was little (unfortunately that theatre has since been torn down ). I haven't seen My Sister's Keeper, but could that ticket have been from the LA production?

It would seem to make sense.
From Wikipedia:
"The Los Angeles production opened at the Shubert Theatre on April 12, 1995 and closed on September 29, 1996. "

Yup, and since they lived in CA that would make more sense anyway.
That movie was kind of the saddest thing ever btw.

Saddest thing ever as in a bad movie or sad as in "it made me cry and was really good?"

Given the context of the movie, I'm assuming she means the latter lol.
