I like Chicago, but I'm tired of it.
Cabaret is better by far IMO.

I love both, but I may have to go with Chicago. I have two soundtracks for it - Broadway and movie. And one year I went as Velma Kelley for Halloween.

CABARET and CHICAGOI love both of them, but they're such vastly different shows that I can't really choose a favourite - or rather, they're both my favourite, but for different reasons. Chicago is a sharp, conceptual satire and Cabaret is a dark, contemporary tragedy. They're both fantastic!

Chicago.
I just love the conflict between Velma and Roxie.

ok so i'm not voting because when I watched Cabaret and just didn't understand it....at all.. It might have something to do with the fact that it was one am it might also have something to do with the fact that it was the movie but i just didn't understand what was happening and why this character (Sally) was the way she was. If any one would like to (nicely) explain to me (nicely) what I was (nicely) watching, I would appreciate it. Also I've heard that the movie is awful compared to the show... truth, lies?

^The show is soo much better than the movie IMO
Difficult choice being two of my favourite shows, but I had to go with Cabaret for a stronger book and I feel a better score, at least by 1998 after Money, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time and I Don't Care Much were added.

I think Cabaret has a little more depth. But then again, I feel like I relate to the story and themes of Cabaret more than Chicago so that could be why!
