O/T - Where do you live?I know this question has been asked other times, but I am in the process of fixing a world map on a wall in my house and fix on it many little flags where I will write the names of my online pals.When I used to live in Bologna during the university years, my roomies and I had done the same with a city map, signing the streets where our uni friends lived, and I liked that very much. So, if you could tell me what country and city you live in... Thanks in advance!

Where in the state, if you don't mind divulging further? Nemi and I live in Kentucky too. I'm in Lexington, I think Nemi is/was in Louisville for school(but I could be wrong). ShadowBalurina, a former board member, lives in Lexington too, and there was someone else in Kentucky. Maybe it was Rahlee? |

Wow, so many Kentucky-ans! I'm in Louisa, a very small town about 2 hrs drive from Louisville. I've spent most of my life in NJ. I moved to Louisa a little over 3 yrs ago. |

The other is Rahlee, and she resides in Lexvegas too, I think. NJ, huh? I was born in NY  So that's kinda close.

My Place...You have my address, so you should already have mine. But, to facilitate your location of my home town in Southern California, you need Los Angeles (actually Long Beach and San Diego. Phoenix metroplex, AZ.
Technically I live in Mesa, on the east side of the Valley. What I get a kick out of is no one's ever heard of the place, yet we're something like #35 or #40 in the biggest cities in the US list, and (I think) bigger than Miami and Minneapolis combined. Phoenix itself is now #5 on the list of major US cities, and it has a good fifteen or so satellite cities that have all merged into one. Hence my tiff a while back with Sun City West being a small town. On a map, it is, but it's merged with all the rest of the Valley to form one megaplex with no physical boundaries between cities. Tempe's where ASU is. Scottsdale's known for golf and rich people. Paradise Valley (PV) has a lot of celebs as residents, and homes *start* at $1.5M. These are cities on the east side. A lot of the west side is not someplace you want to be found after dark unless you like getting shot at.

Lake District, Cumbria (england) It's in the North West, and gets a LOT of rain, has some beautiful scenery though. If anyone's heard of the film 'Miss Potter', it was filmed in and around the lake district.
