There are a few roles for teenage boys. I haven't seen the play so this is from my knowledge of the book. You could probably play Jem or Dill.

Yeah, but if you look young enough. There are very few 12 year old who can act well enough.

When I played scout years ago our Jem was 16, and looked about 14.. but he was a PHENOMINAL actor.
So I say go for it, if you're better than all the others, they can try to make you look younger.
And from pictures I've seen of you, you can pull off looking 12.

i would go for jem. dill would be a good shot too, but he's supposed to be younger than jem...i think.
jem is a phenomenal role. i wish i could have gotten the opportunity to be in this show when i was young enough to play scout!! ah, well. i'll have to settle for playing crazy mayella...hehehehe.
