How come people use the "god kills a kitten" thing for almost everything?

"Everytime a fanboy opens their mouth, god kills a kitten."

"Everytime you masturbate, god kills a kitten."

"Everytime you lie, god kills a kitten."

"Everytime you don't go to our show, god kills a kitten"

"Everytime you <insert something stupid like the top ones>, GOD KILLS A KITTEN!"

And so on...I mean seriously...Why is it always the kittens? Why not puppies or ducks or hamsters or...or SOMETHING...those poor poor kittens..it just irks me...and it got old imo.

Kittens appear more helpless than dogs, and aren't rodents. Kittens are more effeminate and weak sounding, so by committing acts that contribute to their destruction, it is all the more horrifying.

God kills kittens because killing alligators just doesn't have the same ring to it...

I thought it was weird at first,but now,it sounds like it's getting repetitive,boring and downright annoying.It's just the same stupid sentence with different lines plunked in.I personally think people can stop overusing this "God kills a kitten" junk now-it's just so dull.

for it to be funny you need to see the banner with the little monsters chasing it. its not to be anything more then something to make you laugh. I love cats but I still find the banner extremely funny.

I would like for this Thread to come to an end - There does not seem to be a debate about the subject, and there are complaints starting to be voiced... As one of the moderators of the CATS Forum, I would rather the members agree to end this thread than for me to take official action and close it by Moderator action.
