I just want to say what a powerful song this is to me. I don't know why, but even after I saw the production with the Original Broadway Cast, when I listened to this song, I cried. This actually all happened last night. I was just lying in bed, looking through all of the Cast Recordings I had on my mp3 and I found ITW (revival). I listened to this song, and I just sat there and cried. I just thought it was so beautiful.

It doesn't really move me that much. Maybe if I was watching the show performed live and actually in the atmosphere of a theatre it'd have more of an effect on me...

Gorgeous song. I wonder if its so much the song that moves you (though it can be touching, I love the lyrics) as much as maybe its triggering emotions relating to some event that you associate the song with. Or its just the song lol. I'm a music/voice therapist and I always tend to overanalyze responses.
