Newbie Here! Happy to have found this forum!Hello everyone,
I'm so glad I've found this forum you have no idea! 
Well, I'm French and I always liked to watch musicals (movies) when I was a kid. But since I've lived in London for my studies I'm completely hooked up musicals ON STAGE (yeah and movies too)... I fell in love with the West End and then I travelled to NY and fell in love with Broadway... I can't think of anywhere else in the world I'd rather spend time...
I'm not limited when musicals are concerned, I like the oldies (R&H), the new ones (Curtains, YF, Drowsy) and anything in between... It took me more time to really listen to Sondheim's one but he wrote some beautiful songs...
I'm always happy to discover new musicals and I hope this forum will broaden my horizon in this matter even more!!!

Welcome indeed! I'm glad you are getting into Sondheim. dont be afraid..he is the master of musical theatre but for some it takes several viewings of his work to find all the layers. He is rather complex.

Yeah I needed to listen quite a few times to some of the recordings to just beginning to get some of Sondheim's things, lol...

Welcome, I've been here since February and have found it so good, i only knew about 5 musicals before then and now i know so much more about musical theatre and everything around it. it really is a fun and friendly place.
