I have 4 names before Roller Boy, but they are secret.

I am currently working for a major theater comapany.

My age IRL is 27 but I act 12. And according to my co-workers...and bar tenders I look 16.

D'oh, you've drawn me out... I've lurked around without an account for a while, then got one a few days ago... I'm too shy to post on new forums soemtimes. Eeep.

I'm 14, but I look and often act older. Or so I'm told. I've been dealing with people thinking I'm 18-20 since I was 11... Things are weird when someone asks if you're your father's wife or your mother's sister.

I like a lot of musicals, but Cats tops them all. It combines so many of my common interests it's really not a question why I do...
My favorite character froms cats... well, it's a tie between Mungojerrie and George. Fem wise I'd say Electra or Bombalurina... but I'll stop before I ramble.

Let's see... I first saw Cats on PBS (actually, we taped it off the TV...) when I was seven. And since I was playing with the volume the whole thing is very quiet except for Tugger's song. It comes on and I'll be blasted off the couch. I swear.

When I began writing CATS fanfiction, I required a pen name that sounded similar to other Jellicles. TS Eliot was a bit outlandish in his choice, but I think Skimbleshanks gave me an inspiration. My now spirit cat, Laura, had a wonderful full and deep purr that rumbled like a diesel engine. And so, I put the terms together and produced: Rumble-Purr...

As to my profession, I am a fanfiction writer and have a large series of stories known as The Jellicle Chronicles. At one point, I majored in Theatre Arts, of which I have a Masters Degree (SDSU 79). Because of problems in that line, I achieved a Data Processing degree, and worked for 20 years as a computer programmer. Y2K made me retire early... so I am now putting two novels together for possible publication.

I am not positive that I am the oldest member on the Forum at 55, but I do maintain that I am ONE of the oldest, and have been present for the past 5-6 years... Like Roller Boy, I may be required to grow old, but I refuse to grow up...

CATS was a wonderful revival for my enjoyment of the Theatre Arts and musicals in general. Do not ask me which one is my favorite or who my favorite character is... There are too many variations... However, I am partial to Demeter and Bombalurina and "Macavity" in CATS. Character-wise, I probably would have to be Old Deuteronomy since I am not a dancer. Of course, they would have to lower the songs by a fifth to get into my bass range. Not all of us guys can be Ken Page...

I have made my own cats costume and I loved doing it too. I love art and have recently discovered a talent for it. Card games rock too!

I'm Little Nell. And I'm a lurker. I'm more often found posting over in the Wicked forum but I read this forum all the time.

I'm 23. (And I have been for the last two years. I thought I was 23 even when I was 22. Maybe I was born to be 23?) I live in the UK. I work at a theatre and do just about everything there is to do (graphic design, admin, workshops, shows). I have four rabbits and one hamster. I love singing. I love food. I love sleeping.

I love Rocky Horror (am in a shadow cast), Cats and Wicked. I also love The Lion King, WWRY and Avenue Q although I haven't had the chance to see them yet but plan to next year.

Have been making Cats costumes for the last two years, albeit very slowly. Am currently working on a Jemima costume, which I'm very pleased with so far.

I used to be a bit of a troublemaker on here, but most of my favorite argument buddies are gone now, so mostly I stick to the occasional snarky comment.
Unlike a lot of people on this forum, I'm not interested in the theatre except as an occasional audience member.
I like ska music and sometimes I dance around like a drunken idiot to the Aquabats. Actually, I act like a drunken idiot a lot. I don't drink, I'm just goofy.

My interest in CATS began about two years ago, and since then I have become very interested in costuming. I have made a Jemima costume and am currently working on a Tugger and Berlin Rumpleteazer. I enjoy face painting every so often as well, and my favorite designs are Electra, Etcetera, Rumpleteazer, and Jemima. I recently opened a costuming website, Lady Jemima's Costume Corner.

Hi, I'm Gwen....I'm 17 years old, and saw Cats for the first time on video at age...well, either 10 or 11 I thnk, don't remember which. My hobbies include: CATS stuff, dance, reading, art, outdoor stuff, (ie: rock climbing, tubing, horseback riding, archery, water volleyball...) Movies I like are:LOTR, HP 4, The Princess Bride, Dead Poets' Society, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Willow, The Pagemaster...and a LOT of Disney films. My all time favorite Disney Film is the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast coming after that. I played soccer for two years before quitting, (the teams were too clicky, argh,) and am currently contemplating wether to get a job and take jazz+ballet nex year, or do theater. (Can't do both due to theater rehearsal schedules...)

The most unknown thing about me (that you would never guess unless I told you,) is that I can't smell. I was born with anosmia, meaning the first cranial nerve which would normally be in a brain is non-existant in mine.

Hello all. My name is Miikka, and I'm a CATS addict. Okay, not addict, but it still is one of the best things happened to me , I first saw couple of clips from it at school, couple weeks after that I borrowed the vhs from a friend. And couple of weeks after that I bought the dvd. Few months after that I found this forum. Apparently that was in 2002-2003.

I'm 22 years old, I'm from Finland and I'm currently "studying" at Turku School of Economics. I don't really have hobbies. Except I've played drums for 1.5 years. Without any teachers, so I pretty much suck at it, but still, it's fun . I'm very lazy. In some things. I could be described as shy, I don't want to be, but..

My favourite things:
Food: If you don't count pizza and such, pasta.
Band: Without a doubt, Nightwish.
Movie: Too many to choose. LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lion King, V for Vendetta, Chicago just to mention few.
TV-series: Scrubs. I love this show.

I learned a fancy new word from the Nightwish-book, which seems to fit me perfectly. Escapism. I don't know what that makes me (escapist? escapismist? ) but that's me.

And I love Christmas. I love all of it. The songs, the lights, the atmosphere. Much like CATS.

Hmm....I dunno if I'd be technically considered as "new" per se because I have been here eons ago also back in the day when this forum was in a whole different format (Roller Boy, I recall seeing you around there....ages ago indeed it's been!). I used to be Terpsichore on those forums but I was having problems registering with the new system somehow so I became Kezia (a lot of you probably know Jemima's historical reference - she was one of the daughters of Job; Kezia is her sister ). I love Cats; it (along with Starlight) is my favourite musical and it is very near and dear to my heart and it's nice to know that there are people out there (i.e. you all ) who would understand that! None of my friends TRULY understand my fascination with this musical but it's great to know you all would! So yeah, I come and go in these forums....I get really busy so I disappear for ages and then reappear sometime later and then later disappear again....so if anyone remembers me, shout out! My favorite musical(s) are:
Les Miserables. I just saw it this last weekend at a Highschool and fell in love with it. Can't ever imagine how it would be by professionals.
Cats. I have loved this musicals since I first saw it probably five or six years ago. I've only seen it live once, and I cried when it was over.
Phantom of the Opera. I just love the music. I haven't seen it live, but my younger brother did and he said it was freaking awesome.

I am actually attempting my own musical. The title is in my signature. It's very, very brief at the moment and only four pages long, but it's coming. Let's hope it keeps coming, eh?

I've been in many different stage productions including my schools musical production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, in which I played the main role of Snow White.

I'm 26, a lighting designer and sometimes stagehand. Been married about a year and a half now.

I've always liked Cats and always will but as with any like my attention waxes and wanes so I post when I get the urge and lurker when I have nothing to say

Im 19, but Im alot more mature when it comes to getting stuff done and as perfect as possible but once I get on a stage or with my theater and music friends having a good time I become a fireball of energy and immaturity if Im in the right mindset

Im primarily and singer and actor, just because my school never had a dance program, but I have done plenty of dance shows and am currently practicing my ass off to get my dancing to the right levels so I can be in shows like CATS ^^

I'm one of the 'oldbie's of the forum, having been here for years and years.

I'm 19 (20 in January!), a student, and a Theatre major with a Latin minor. I spent last year working as a scenic carpenter on apprenticeship for my university's Theatre department, one semester as a Props Mistress, and I think I'm going back to the scene shop (or floating between scenic and costumes) next semester.

I discovered Cats in 8th grade, after doing a little section on it in my language arts class. When I saw the first commercials for the video in 6th grade (maybe?), I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. And here I am 8 year s later. I've seen the US tour twice, and wish I could have seen it again, but seeing some other shows I haven't yet seen (Rent, Spamalot, Lion King, Spelling Bee) was a tad more important.

And now I've recently started Primary School Education specialized on English (ESL) aswell. When am I going to settle down, get a job and get a living outside my parents home? I don't have a clue!
