new CATS fan here, and some FANART

hi : )
i've just got into the CATS recently, and i've been to the show in Hong Kong twice! (The Australian cast is currently putting on shows till 21st June) and i'll be watching it again on 21st : D
someone recommended me to join this forum as its more "lively" than the communities on LJ.
anyway,
heres some of my fanart:
(no rude comments of you don't like yaoi, i'm a big fan of tuggerxmisto >: ( and don't critic on my anime style drawing please, every artist has a different drawing style.)
when i saw the show the 2nd time i SWEAR Quaxo cuddled up to Tugger for loads of times xD

comments would be lovely<3

Welcome

Welcome to the MdN CATS Forum. I hope you will find what you seek here...

I am slightly puzzled here... You want comments, but not Critiques? An artist usually endures the critique, which is supposed to be a 'constructive viewpoint.' In such a commentary, the work is evaluated and is given both good points and 'need improvements.' Since I am not an artist (rather, I am a writer, who can be called "an artist with words"), I will not say more than I do like the artwork, even though I do not care for the subject. As you pointed out, not everyone does... However, even I must admit that the relationship(s) seen in the show sometimes points to a like relationships in fanfiction and fan-art. Your artwork is well-presented, and I hope you will provide more as you go.

In the future, you may wish to place your artwork in the Sticky Thread above marked "Fan Works Thread".

Respectfully,

Your pictures have officially been poached for potential later use on the Misto Project. Worry not, fair anime-artist, for it shall take some time (some very long time) to actually eventuate.

Your art is generic, but pretty. *salut* If you have any slightly more risque' pictures, please let me know (PM maybe? to avoid censorship).

Is the cast good in the one you saw? I believe it's the same tour that will be coming to Brisbane in a month or so and I'd love some opinions on what they're like. *cough* And also what the brochure is like.

its not that i don't want critiques, its just that some people don't like anime style drawings and tend to point that fact out directly, i just don't enjoy seeing comments like that, is all : )
i don't mind receiving critiques, as long as they're going to help in improving my art : P

Hello! Welcome to the forum! =)

I'm not a big fan of anime/manga books, but I love the actual artwork. (My friend draws it alot, she's obsessed with Japan. But I digress. :p) I'm not bothered by yaoi, I just don't like reading it. But I must say, that your doodles and proper drawings are extraordinary. You have a lovely sense of proportion, and you capture each character perfectly. I love the lighting atmosphere in the very last picture, and I love Misto's expression in the first - you've got the anime/manga trademark down pat, but you also have your own flair and style, which I adore. I'm also an artist, but more of a reality-type-drawer, so I admire anyone who can pull this style off. I do hope to see more of your work in the future. =)

Oh, and that little chibi Tugger (second lot down, left picture, top right hand corner) made me giggle. The expression is so wicked! <3

Could you perhaps post the cast list for the tour, please?
