New Broadway cast

Hey i found this on the WoO forum and didn't found it here so i thought for those who didn't know

That's still usually referred to as a "new cast."

Cast 1: Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Norbert Leo Butz, Joel Grey, etc.
Cast 2: Idina Menzel, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Joey McIntyre, Joel Grey, etc.
Cast 3: Shoshana Bean, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Joey McIntyre, George Hearn, etc.

Even just 1 or 2 people changing refers to the "next cast."

Well, I agree, but at the same time how else are you to judge when to change it to a "new cast"? Not everyone leaves at the same time and there are at least two members of the OBC still left in the show on Broadway - Ioana Alfonso and Kristen Leigh Gorski. Also, Manuel Herrera has returned as Chistery (he left for a while though). So how else do you judge when there's a "new cast"?

yeah...I don't refer to it as a "new cast"..I mean when someone says "New broadway cast" they usually mean...the cast of a totally new production...there are always going to be changes..especially in the leads..of broadwya shows considering it is so demanding. it's great that there are still OBC members performing though...I really respect that as a performer...I mean they've been doing the same show for like three years now..wow!
