Need some comments for my siteHi,As most of you probably know, I own a site dedicated to Jemima/Sillabub. I would like to add a new section on my "Performers" section : If you saw the show live, I would love to get your opinion on the Jemima/Sillabub performer you saw (voice, acting, anything interesting you saw her doing,...and anything you want to tell about her). I'd post your comment on my site with your name, date and place you saw the show. So anyone who want to contribute, feel free to respond me here or PM or email me Thanks in advance. |

Heya. I saw CATS March 13, 2005 at the Barbara B. Manns Performing Arts Hall 2 in Fort Myers, Florida.
The Sillabub I saw..meh..I didn't care much for her. Her voice was rather high and a little shakey when she got up into the higher notes. Sort of airy sounding..I didn't enjoy it =/ |

Wish I could help, but I've only seen the Tour III and I don't remember Silla in paticular. |

I have seen many Jemimas but my favourite was Kimberley Partridge (London94-96) she was also on Hey mr producer as jemima so you can hear her voice, she would play it like a kitten who was trying to be grown up, by copying some of the older cats (Demeter mainly), but still behaving so sweetly whenever Munkustrap was around, she used to do this 'face' too that was almost as if she was so contented and happy and another that was full of awe. I do remember when Misto is doing his thing she would be hypnotised by him until he said 'presto' and she would look around totally bewildered and rub her head as if it hurt, so cute! she was also an excellent dancer!
will try and think of some other Jemimas and what they did to make their performamce special. |

Oh yes, I saw "Hey mr producer", and kimberley Partridge seems to be a great Jemima.
And Jemima57, I could help you for your site, but not before three months |

I like your site, there is plenty of information there!
I've seen that you have the name of Madrid's Jemima but you don't have images. Well here's a webpage of Sandra Rausell and her character Jemima, although she also had the chance to play Victoria once or twice. I just went once to see the Musical because it was in Madrid and I am from Barcelona which is currently at 8h by train... (taking the cheapest train Ok here's the site: http://www.sandrarausell.iespana.es/ You have to go to "Algunas Fotos" to get some captions, and there is even a picture of Hugo in Mungojerrie make-up!!! I don't really remember if she sang Moments of happiness... I think I was too much focused on Tugger and Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer...hehehe |

Thanks for the link ! Actually I have pictures of Sandra as Jemima, but only those scanned from the brochure. She was cute as Victoria too ! |
