Hello everyone!

My younger sister will be a senior in highschool this year, and the director announced that the big musical has been chosen. She gave them hints, but not the name. It's driving me crazy that I can't figure it out.

Here are the "hints":

-Written in the past 60 years
-"Dance show" (that should be interpreted loosely)
-Something about/having to do with "To make you love me"
-Is not FAME, Hairspray, OUAM, Big River, Tom Sawyer, Footloose, South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, Urinetown, Kiss Me Kate, Music Man
-Somewhat obscure to highschoolers

Any ideas?

Hmm... he only thing that came to mind was maybe A Chorus Line?
the "make you love me" theme could apply to wanting the director to love them enough to cast them, instead of a romantic, couple sort of love....??

If anyone can figure it out, MdN can, I'm sure!

Going by the clues, the only thing that comes to mind is 'Li'l Abner'.

hmmm...Thanks for the ideas! I kinda doubt she'd do A Chorus Line (although that one crossed my mind as well) or Company in a highschool setting, but Li'l Abner is intriguing. You never know with this director though. I will definitely let you know when they find out what it is!
