Need an opinion on a monologue choice...So for one of my college auditions they are doing a full day thing (9:30 am- 5:30 pm) and it's a day of workshops mostly. We only have to do one monologue for this audition they said we had the choice between doing a contemporary or a classical one...
So my question is...which should I do? Would it be a smart move to do a classical one since all day will be devoted to stuff like improv, movement, voice, etc and they won't get a chance to see how I work with classical stuff otherwise? Or should I stick with a contemporary monologue?
Thanks for any advice

I would choose whatever you feel best suits and represents you and your particular individual style, whether modern or classical.

I agree. You want to do something a little more in your comfort zone than go out on a limb, so do what you're comfortable with for an audition.
