national anthem comp help!so i entered a competition about a month ago to sing the Australian national anthem in Melbourne on australia day. It was throughout all of Victoria (if ppl no wot im on about) and I am one of 11 finalists.
My grandma says I have to sell the song. How the HELL do i sell the national anthem ??? Also, what can I do to stand out as I'm 14 and will be competing against 20 year olds and so on, who obviously have mature voices, although my voice sounds more like an 18 year old singing.

You could do what our darling "I've been missing blah blah blah strawberry kisses" (I've totally forgotten her name  You konw) chick did in 2000 and appeal to the younger look. Go pink dress and golden curls 
But congrats on being a finalist! I know how hard those things are to get into.
(PS. Qld is totally better..)
