Names for a small photography business..?My aunty sent me an email asking me for some names for her new small photography business. Since you lot are all creative I thought you might have some ideas?
It needs to be simple and not too kitschy.
She thought of Cherish but it's already taken by a nearby company.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Heh... I could probably help, since my mother started her own photography business last year. We went through several names before she decided on "bella vita photography". I kinda like it, but I've always thought that "picturesque" would be a really cute name for a photography business. Also, is your aunt going to build/buy a studio or will she work out of her home? Because my mom built a garage with a loft in our backyard to work as her studio, so we used our actual home to come up with an early name ("yellow cottage photography"). You could try something like that.
If all else fails, I've learned that using French and Italian instead of English makes everything seem more sophisticated and artsy (lol).

What type of photography is your aunt specializing in? Weddings, portraits, kids, commercial?

She's beginning with kids - kids' parties - and family portraits, but more unconventional - not in front of a sheet, but sort of in gardens and on playgrounds - more 'them' and natural

^ Cool beans. That's kinda how my mom got started. I have a ton of cousins under the age of 6, so my mom got a lot of practice with children. She also prefers the more natural look =3 I take it she wants to later photograph senior pictures, weddings, etc.? I would recommend a name that sounds suitable for all ages. That is, don't use "Kandid Kidz" or something overtly childish, but in the same token, don't use a super adult/sophisticated name such as... well, I can't think of any ^^;;

Erm, "Click"
Unless that's been copyrighted by the film and there's already a photography company with that name.
If so, just ignore me.
