Name the Phantoms

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9KD-kOvBus

See if you can name the Phantoms in this clip.

I know I can't. John Cudia is one of them and I think Paul Stanley is there, too.

One thing that stands out to me... there is a Phantom here without the tuxedo jacket. Who is he? Any idea why he is not wearing it?

Phantoms.... Erm... Earl Carpenter... John Owen Jones... Juan Carlos Barona.... Gary Mauer? John Cudia? Howard McGillin?

Christines... Rachel Barrell (a lot), Jennifer Hope Wills, Elizabeth Southard... Julia Møller? Sandra Joseph?

I was going to add Thomas Borchert to that list, but it appears to be Steve Lucas instead (according to the video tags, anyway Wink ).

I think Gary Mauer might be the tuxedo-less Phantom...the story I heard was that during one performance, he didn't get enough time to change into the Persian outfit so he just took his front jacket off to make it look diffferent.

That's really beautiful. I love how you can hear all the emotion in the piano play.

The coat-less Phantom in that video is Peter Lockyer. The tailcoat got caught up as he was removing the cape at the end of the title song, and the two came off together.

The quick change after MOTN sometimes results in an actor not having time for the Mandarin robe. Usually the tailcoat is off by the time he reaches the wings, and the tricky part is getting the robe and hat before his cue at the organ. There are also clips of Earl Carpenter after such a miss during the quick change.

That makes more sense... The clip is clearly from MOTN and not "I remember / Stranger", so it couldn't have been a didn't-get-into-the-Persian-robe problem.

On a side note, earl Carpenter never looked sexier as the Phantom... Composing Phantom in only pants, shirt and waistcoat..... Aaaaaaw! Mr. Green

Been searching for these tuxedo-less Phantom vids, but can't find any.

Dang.

Here's the full video of Peter Lockyer doing MOTN sans tailcoat:

Most have been hauled off YouTube, but I'm checking other sources. One has to see the title song clip to witness him fighting with the cape and tailcoat. The tailcoat came halfway off with the cape, he tried to get it back on, but that wasn't possible without looking like an idiot. Laughing Good on him though, because most people who haven't seen the show wouldn't think twice.
ETA: Found it!
