My Lord and MasterThe ending. Has anyone here played Tuptim or just sung the song? How did you sing the last 3 notes ("another man"), particularly? I'm keen to semi-belt (ie louder than I would normally sing notes that high, but not at risk of damaging my voice) and fast, with passion and urgency, but when I did the show, our Tuptim sang it quite softly and slowly, and that sounded nice too. What do you think?

well, it goes up to like a high b, and our tuptim had to sing it really loud.... she sung it really loud and scared for herself, and even frightened, but forceful..

Hey! I played Tuptim a couple of months ago. I sung the song not forcefully, but with resentment. I started to sing it soft and slow, and increased the intensity towards the end. The last two notes I sung loud - not belting, but strong, and then I faded on the final 'man'. Hope this helps...

Our Tuptim sang the last notes loud. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as 'urgent', but definitely passionate. It was nice and high and she had an amazing operatic voice.
