My CATS Tour Blabber!Wow... so this is kinda late and all... I have not been on for a while, and I went last Saturday. SO I'm sorry if any of you think I'm a slacker. Also, please forgive me but I don't feel like getting up to get my program and get all the names... so I'll only do the ones I know.
So my friends and I had amazing seats (second row!) and had an awesome time last Saturday... thruth be told, I liked it much better than when I saw it last year. I don't know if it was the cast or the interaction or what, but it was phenominal.
Anyway, I shall not be long. But I will say that it was amazingly cool to make so much eye contact with the performers... let's see... I got Bomby, Cassandra, Mungo, Rumpel, Sillabub, Munkustrap (nice fatherly smile), a CRAPLOAD of Tugger, and some Alonzo... oh, yeah, and Skimble. SO that was fun. And when we went backstage, several cast members remembered us... so we were twottery and excited.
Some standout performers...hmmm... Chelsea Cicci was a knockout Bombalurina. I was so sad she didn't come out at the end at the stage door... I wanted to meet her. Her voice was so in your face and brassy, and she has the most gorgeous, expressive eyes ever. Josephine Rose Roberts was a VERY cute Rumpelteazer, and she's adorable in real life too... sooooo much curly hair and that tiny voice! I had the great pleasure of seeing Gregory Haney once again as Mungojerrie... I adored him last year. Though I was interested to see how an ex-Manudo member would be, I was very pleased to watch Gragory again. And meet him. He was too cool! Alex Ringler was a very slinky and slick Alonzo and was so pleasant. I took a picture with him. Heehee. Umm... oh, yes. God, I feel terrible because I forgot his name... but the Tugger... whoa... he was amazing. I got quite giggly wheneer we made eye contact (sooo much during Misto!) and he was courteous but very tired seeming when I met him. He had huge rings under his eyes (makeup and tiredness?)... and the Misto was adorable too. But I didn't meet him. Oh. And if anyone gets the opportunity to go backstage, meet Skimble. He is the sweetest thing ever. I adore him. Hug him for me. Also Griz was wonderful (but her wig was crazy) and so was Demeter.
So yeah. Sorry it's vague, because I'm tired and all... but there you go!
