Musicals of Musicals

Has any one heard of this show. It is awesome. It takes the story of a girl who can't pay her rent and making five mini musicals in the style of diffrent composers. I have the CD which includes the songs, diologe, and a discription of what is going on stage. I find it hilarious. My favorite line in Aspects of Junita (Andrew Loyd Webber) William the lover sing to Junita the girl when she ask him to pay the rent:

William: Junita I'm confused about our relationship
Junita: Me too, I'm tired of having to sing everything. Can't we just talk.

For this play it is just like they say in the simpsons, Its funny becasue its true. Espically the a narrator. Begaing of show 3

Narrator: the lights come to revival a party at Abby's swank new york apartment. Abby appears at the top of a staircase. The audience applaudes wildly...even though she hasn't done anything yet.

I saw that! It's hysterical, but you have to be familiar with the shows and the composers that they're using or you don't understand it. I especially loved the Sondheim version...

"Jitter, JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!" with the red lighting in the back. classic sweeney. Very Happy

Bwayluvor31- I have a question for you...

In the accaul performance do they have the narrotor or is that just for the cd?
Monsieur D'Arque

They do have the narrator. It is often performed by the pianist.

Thanks! The narator makes me laugh so much on the CD.
